Anthony and I met by a chance of fate in March of 2019. We were both on the Southside of Pittsburgh celebrating St. Patty's Day which was unusual for both of us in the first place. Anthony was traveling for work at the time and hates being downtown, and I usually never went downtown to drink.

Alexa (Maid of Honor) and I were walking to our Uber when we had to stop at a crosswalk. Nick Blair (Groomsman) was talking on the phone with his mom when I mentioned to him that his flashlight was on. **Enter Anthony almost getting hit by a truck as he darted across the road**. Cowboy (Devin Christy, Groomsman) was chatting with Alexa and before you know it, he asked us to cancel our Uber and we were on our way to Finn McCools with him and Anthony.

Anth and I started chatting about hockey, our favorite teams (which coincidentally were the same), and started spitting out Letterkenny one-liners to each other. *I think that's when I knew this was going somewhere lol*. Later on, Anth asked me for my number which I gladly gave him and didn't think twice about! We spent the rest of the night bar hopping and eventually Alexa and I decided to uber back to our friends to get my car and go home.

While we were driving through Pittsburgh, I mentioned to Alexa that there was no way he was going to text me and that was why he asked for my number but never gave me his... About 5 minutes later, he did text me and I screamed out of excitement almost wrecking us into the mon wharf.

I say us meeting was a chance of fate because there were multiple other times that God put us in the same place at the same time but we never connected. We were standing not even 10 feet away from each other at the 2016 Penguins Stanley Cup parade, took the same exact picture (which is on both of our instagrams), and never knew it until we compared pictures in 2019 after meeting... I truly believe there is a right place and right time for everything, and I also believe in love.
